I specialize in one-on-one Lessons, and know how to get my students to excel through personalized attention, patience, a lot of practice, and hard work. I make learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities. Teaching is a skill, but great teaching is more of an art that only a few can master.

MY STORY
More than just a Tutor
Through my years of tutoring primary and secondary students in mathematics and science, I carried on developing my passion for teaching and inspiring younger individuals. Seeing them reach their achievements through their hard work and persistence became my reward. Yet, more than just a tutor, I want to be a guide and mentor that will listen to my students with compassion, and equip them with the proper understanding and tools needed to help them face any challenges that may lie ahead for them in their educational careers, and never be discouraged in their pursuit of their goals.
When I first began my journey through the fields of STEM related subjects, as a young student in high school, I began to notice how I was one of few females participating in these classes. As my experience continued into post-secondary, I couldn’t help but feel that my gender was still outnumbered as I pursued my goals into my undergraduate and graduate fields of study. This observation once affected me very deeply and personally, often feeling notions of self-doubt, fear, even unworthiness – perhaps all reasons why I hear of so many young women discouraging themselves from continuing their pursuit of STEM-related careers. However, this realization sparked my own drive. This included starting my own business, to be that person I dreamed of becoming, not only for myself, but to inspire generations younger than me, and show them that they can accomplish whatever they want if they set their minds to it.
